Randolph (Randy) T. Brown (Retired October 2014)

Graduated from the University of Notre Dame in June of 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy until July of 1967. He attended law school at the University of Minnesota from 1967 until 1970. He worked for Northwestern National Life Insurance Company in their legal department for one year and then commenced the private practice of law in Long Prairie on June 2, 1971. Randy was appointed Assistant County Attorney in July of 1971 and was elected Todd County Attorney effective January 2, 1975. He continued serving as County Attorney or Assistant County Attorney for Todd County until January 1, 1987. Randy is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. Randy has 30+ years of jury trial litigation experience. Randy is licensed to practice law by the States of Minnesota and Missouri.

Joseph A. Krueger

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Joe graduated from Creighton University with a degree in Accounting in May of 2000. He attended the Creighton University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor and certificate of specialization in Business, Taxation and Commercial Transactions in May of 2003. He worked in the Twin Cities as a sole practitioner, specifically in the area of complex litigation defense, before joining Brown & Krueger, P.A. in July of 2005. He generally practices in the areas of civil litigation, estate planning, business law, municipal law and prosecution, probate and real estate.

Joe is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for The Long Prairie Country Club, The Centra Care Health Foundation - Long Prairie, The Long Prairie Chamber of Commerce, The Todd County Pheasants Forever Chapter and the Long Prairie Lions Club.

franz

Franz J. Vancura

Franz grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota and resides in the Leech Lake area. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University and the University of Saint Thomas School of Law, where he was a member of the law review. Prior to founding the Vancura Law Firm, Franz clerked for the Hon. John P. Smith and the Hon. Jana Austad. Franz is an active member of the Walker Rotary Club, Vice President of the Walker Curling Club, and an Eagle Scout. He enjoys hunting, fishing, rugby, and training his English springer spaniels in his free time.

Sue Pesta

Attended Alexandria Vocational Technical College and received a degree in accounting. Sue has worked as a legal secretary in various law offices for four years and has previously worked as a chiropractic assistant and as a bookkeeper for other businesses for eleven years. Sue handles general secretarial work and real estate matters.

Gloria Roelike

Has worked at our law firm since 1987. Gloria graduated from St. Cloud Area Technical School with a degree in bookkeeping. Gloria handles all bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and does the accounting work on estates and guardianships.

Dorothy Mages

Attended business college for one year for office management. Dorothy previously worked for Plummer State Bank in Plummer, Minnesota, for 10 years and worked for the Assessorís Office, the Environmental Office, the County Recorderís Office, and the County Engineerís Office at Red Lake County before coming to our firm where she works as a real estate secretary.
